[Author's brief history]
Born in Katagami City, Akita in 1945.
At the age of 19, he started to self-study underwater photography in Cape Manazuru, Kanagawa.
At the age of 31, he became a freelancer.
In 1977, he was moved to Tokyo Bay for the first time and was impressed by the creatures that live robustly in the muddy sea.
Since then, he has been working on Tokyo Bay fixed-point observation as his life work.
Making use of the experience of various reports, he tells about the attractiveness of the sea and people's activities around the sea through various media such as newspapers, TV, radio, and lectures.
