[Event report] On November 10 (Sun), the 10th SURUGA-YA plastic model road memorial "Shout your love for plamo in the city of plastic models, Shizuoka! at SURUGA-YA Bldg." has been hold

On Sunday, November 10th, to commemorate the 10th SURUGA-YA Plamo-do (Plastic Model Road), we held a talk show titled "Shout your love for plastic models in the city of plastic models, Shizuoka! at SURUGA-YA Bldg." on the 4th floor of the SURUGA-YA MAIN STORE, SURUGA-YA Bldg.!

Voice actor Yuki Tai and pro modeler Suou talk about their love for plastic models!

To celebrate the 10th SURUGA-YA Plamo-do, we invited two guests who served as judges for Plamo-do to hold a talk show event.
The event was divided into two parts, each lasting 45 minutes.  
Some customers were at the venue an hour before the event started, eagerly awaiting it!

Plenty of content, from the two guests' favorite tools to techniques for Improving plastic model building!

The first part was titled "History of SURUGA-YA Plamo-do," where we introduced the winning works from the first SURUGA-YA Plamo-do.
Next, voice actor Yuki Tai introduced his favorite nippers and tweezers, and talked about things like the angle of the blade for a clean finish and tips for finishing quickly.

In the second part, pro modeler Suou introduced his favorite tools and how-to techniques.
Although the time was short, the content was substantial, and the audience seemed to be listening intently the whole time.

Super generous! rock-paper-scissors tournament!

After the event, we held a rock-paper-scissors tournament with the guests and the audience.
The prizes were items that the two guests found interesting in the SURUGA-YA Building, which were presented to the two winners.
In addition, Suou gave away his own brand of paint to two more people!
The winners held their prizes with great care.







We received a lot of encouraging comments from the attendees. "It was interesting", "Very informative!",...
Some customers even bought Suou's paint immediately after the event.

The works of the two guests are on display on the 2nd floor of the SURUGA-YA Building for a limited time until early December!
